Was “Tidal Wave Bomb” Developed During World War II?

You may have read some of my previous posts about HAARP and other ways that the CIA and the government has been trying to “weaponize” the weather. It seems that such efforts may stretch back even farther than we imagined. It has recently come to light that the allies may have successfully tested a “tidal wave bomb” during WWII.

The allegations of the discovery of a “tsunami bomb” were first reported in an early 2000 article in the New Zealand Herald. The paper reported, “Top-secret wartime experiments were conducted off the coast of Auckland to perfect a tidal wave bomb, declassified files reveal. United States defense chiefs said that if the project had been completed before the end of the Second World War, it could have played a role as effective as that of the atomic bomb.”

The article went on to say that, “Details of the tsunami bomb, known as Project Seal, are contained in 53-year-old documents released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Papers stamped ‘top secret’ show the US and British military were eager for Seal to be developed in the post-war years too. They even considered sending Professor Leech [The Auckland University professor in charge of the project] to Bikini Atoll to view the US nuclear tests and see if they had any application to his work.”

Was Project Seal a Precursor to HAARP and Other Weather Weapons?

Now that it is out in the open if you were to do even the most cursory research on “Project Seal,” what you would find — even looking no deeper than Wikipedia — should be enough to raise the hackles of even the most anti-conspiracy theorists. “The tsunami bomb,” Wikipedia reports, “was an attempt during World War II to develop a tectonic weapon that could create destructive tsunamis. The project commenced after US Navy Officer E. A. Gibson noticed small waves generated by explosions used to clear coral reefs.

“The idea was developed by the United States and New Zealand military in a program codenamed Project Seal. The weapons concept was deemed feasible, but the weapons themselves were never fully developed or used. A related concept, the ‘bouncing bomb’ was developed and used in World War II, to be dropped into water as a means to destroy German dams and cause loss of industrial capacity and widespread flooding.”

Project Seal first came to light during research by a New Zealand documentary filmmaker, Rau Waru (author of Secrets and Treasures: Our Stories Told Through the Objects). He examined military files buried in New Zealand’s national archives and found the shocking material in a box sitting on the desk of an official who was contemplating whether to stop releasing it because the Russians might be considering doing the same thing.

Waru says, “Presumably if the atomic bomb had not worked as well as it did, we might have been tsunami-ing people.” He says the initial testing was positive but the project was finally shelved in January 1945. “Yet the New Zealand authorities continued to produce reports on the experiments well into the 1950s.”

Fred Bucks is a former US military interpreter who is generally recognized an authority on weather weapons. He wrote the definitive article on the subject for the Canadian press in 2000, entitled, HAARP: Secret Weapon Used for Weather Modification, Electromagnetic Warfare. It has been cited and reprinted several times since.

As to the tidal wave bomb, Buck finds himself pondering, “If the military secretly developed a weapon which could cause a tsunami over half a century ago [in fact 75 years ago], what kind of advanced deadly weapons might be available now? And why is it that the general public still doesn’t know about secret weapons developed over 50 years ago? Clearly the military has the capability to cause a tsunami and likely to cause earthquakes and hurricanes as well. It’s time for us to take action to spread the word on this vital topic.”

Do you think weather manipulation technology exits, and is secretly already in use by our own government, as well as our enemies? Reply in the comments below.
