Twelve years ago, the former U.S. Vice President of the United States under Bill Clinton, Al Gore, made apocalyptic predictions that global warming would kill us all in the next ten years.
And yet, here we are, still hotly debating the hot-button topic of whether or not our planet is heating up, in terms of its averages temperatures, and, if so, what that might mean to us humans and our future existence here on this spinning orb in the middle of outer space.
At the time Gore was whipping the public into a froth about the imminent perils if we didn’t take immediate and drastic steps to change our evil and polluting ways. Carbon became Environmental Enemy #1, all thanks in very large part to Mr. Gore’s 2006 award-winning film, “An Inconvenient Truth,” described on Wikipedia as an”American concert film/documentary film directed by Davis Guggenheim about former United States Vice President Al Gore’s campaign to educate people about global warming.”
It turns out that, rather than educate, Gore spread self-interested propaganda, “information that is not objective and is used primarily to influence an audience and further an agenda, often by presenting facts selectively to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is presented.[2] Propaganda is often associated with material prepared by governments, but activist groups, companies, religious organizations and the media can also produce propaganda.”
In Gore’s movie, Guggenheim , “follows Al Gore on the lecture circuit, as the former presidential candidate campaigns to raise public awareness of the dangers of global warming and calls for immediate action to curb its destructive effects on the environment.”
While Gore promoted his upcoming film and led the charge for global warming, he made up facts along the way. Well, heck, he wasn’t under oath, after all. But the film editors didn’t even try to fact-check, apparently.
For example, “An Inconvenient Truth” stated that polar bears can swim. They can’t. It’s a verifiable fact. Saying something false is true is both bad film-making and bad science. One has to wonder what other easily-checkable facts such as escaped the editing process? What other misinformation was fed to its many viewers?
“An Inconvenient Truth” includes a comprehensive slide show which Gore, by his own estimate, “has presented over a thousand times to audiences worldwide” to raise global awareness about the perils of climate change, as has been debated – but not proved – in the international scientific community.”
Here are some of the wild claims that Al Gore, pseudo-scientist and self-serving globalist, repeated to large crowds, brainwashing them to believe that global warming exists and caused by humans who are the only ones who can stop it.
In January 2006, Gore predicted:
“Within the next ten years, the world will reach a point of no return.”
Before his movie launched on June 30, 2006, Gore repeated dramatic propaganda statements during his public appearances to push the key ideas presented in his film. Here’s one example:
“Global warming is about to toast our ecology and our way of life.”
That never happened either.
The truth a lot of people don’t know is that Gore had invested a lot of money in carbon tax stock options. He was serving his own personal financial interest every time he pounded his fist and raise a hue and cry about rising earth temperatures, rising tides, rising costs, rising risks.
Of course, it was us consumers who were responsible for causing this emergency. Oh yes, the very people forced to buy fossil fuels because alternative transportation energy sources have been suppressed by Big Oil interests for decades now needed to pay a “carbon tax” to pay back THE WORLD for the damage caused by witless human over-consumption.
What evil genius dreamed up the fiction that humans could cause a global catastrophe through excessive carbon emissions into the upper atmosphere? Hadn’t We the People learned better from the Ozone Layer scam?
Evidently not.
For the record, eight scientific predictions from “An Inconvenient Truth” have proved to be wrong. None of them happened.
Yet, these scientific falsehoods have become the basis for the United Nation’s War on Carbon and highly controversial Paris Climate Accord:
1. Sea levels are rising at an alarming rate
2. CO2 is the control knob for temperature
3. Hurricane Katrina was man-made
4. Severe tornadoes are increasing
5. Polar bears are dying
6. The Arctic is melting
7. The Sahel is drying up
8. Carbon dioxide is pollution
If you think the term “brainwashing” is too strong when talking about the tactics Al Gore used to promote his film and his globalist agenda – now embraced and becoming compulsory by the United Nations – watch this short video, shot on an airplane, and be grateful you aren’t married to this woman who ranted at her silent seatmate who apparently didn’t meet with her political approval:
“You pretend you have the moral high ground. But you put that man’s finger on the nuclear button. That man doesn’t ‘believe’ in climate change. Do you believe in gravity?”
Equating climate change with gravity is bad science – although they do have one thing in common: no one understands either one.
When the woman – who, admittedly, looked, sounded, and acted like she was off her meds – drew out the word “believe,” facing the man next to her (whom she was vilifying in a public, enclosed space with no escape), she made rabbit-ears quotation marks in the air for emphasis. As she asked the innocent by-sitter if he believed in gravity, she made a strange face, suggesting he was an utter imbecile.
At that point, an airline employee intervened and informed the woman, in so many words and deeds, that her hate speech had earned her a ticket right back into the terminal. She and her mortified husband were given a police escort off the commercial flight.
American society has come to this, thanks to the likes of political pseudo-scientists, including Al Gore. The combination of bad science, the hypnotic repetition of propaganda messages that serve the globalists’ need to control everything and everybody on earth, and liberals’ hatred of conservatives (whipped up by Maxine Waters and her “push back in public” campaign) have reduced our civil society to a nation of brainwashed, evil-tempered, intolerant, bullies.
Global warming? Meh and feh.
