Don’t look now Joe, you’ve been thrown under the bus once again by another former Obama operative. This time it’s Dr. David Scheiner, the physician of the former President who spoke out yesterday regarding Biden’s health, describing the 2020 wannabe as “not a healthy guy.”
The former physician to Obama made his startling comment to the Washington Examiner following the release of Biden’s heath records on December 15th.
Scheiner was Obama’s personal doctor for 22-years before he became President.
During the interview, Scheiner told the Examiner, “Biden’s not a healthy guy. He’s not in bad shape for his age, but I wouldn’t say he’s in outstanding health.”
Adding, “Could I guarantee he won’t have issues for the next four years? He has a lot of issues that are just sort of sitting there.”
The smack-down by Dr. Scheiner is reminiscent not too long ago when another Obama disciple, former chief campaign strategist David Axelrod lampooned that Biden is “Mr. Magooing his way through” the 2020 Democratic primary.
For those not familiar with the analogy between the former VP and the fictional cartoon character created in 1949. Mr. Magoo is a wealthy short-statured senior, who gets himself into all kinds of humor fixes because of his extreme near-sightedness, complicated by a stubborn refusal to admit the problem.
As for Biden’s overall health, his records indicate he has an irregular heartbeat, high cholesterol, acid reflux, and seasonal allergies, however, his doctor insists Biden is a “healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old” who is fit to be President. Biden also has a history of aneurysms and takes blood thinners
Dr. Scheiner said he would like to see results from an MRI or CT scan as well as a sleep study test, since Biden used to suffer from sleep apnea, and may actually have a higher risk factor for having a stroke.
Biden’s medical records also showed that the former VP had several surgeries not previously disclosed to the public, including surgery performed on his prostate. There was also an issue regarding Biden’s vision when his eye suddenly filled with blood during a campaign rally.
His doctor also noted that Biden “has received multiple physical therapy treatments and surgeries, for various sports medicine and orthopedic injuries,” but declined to specify any further. Sometime before 2008, doctors also found he suffered from mild diverticulosis, which are small pouches that bulge outward through the colon or large intestine. As was previously known, doctors found a single, non-cancerous tubular adenoma in his colon in 2008.
The report also says Biden has had “several localized, non-melanoma skin cancers removed with Mohs surgery.” Since those findings, Biden “continues to receive close dermatologic surveillance,” because “he did spend a good deal of time in the sun in his youth.”
It’s also been reported that Biden has had some cosmetic surgery before announcing his candidacy.
Those scars, according to cosmetic surgeons who reviewed photographs of Biden, are the consequence of a rhytidectomy — more commonly referred to as a facelift.
“Oh he’s had a facelift, there’s no question,” said leading New York-based cosmetic surgeon Dr. Arthur Perry, who is also an associate adjunct professor at Columbia Medical School.
He described the size of Biden’s incisions as “incredible” and “fairly recent.” He said: “The scars come too far from his ear. This is very hard to correct.”
Adding, “You can see the beard hair on his ear,” Perry said. “You normally don’t have to shave that part of your ear. Joe does.” He added that Biden would have to have the procedure repeated to correct the blemishes.
