Man Cuts Neighbor’s Heart Out and Feeds it to Family Before Killing Them

An Oklahoma man suspected of murdering three people has confessed to killing his neighbor, cutting her heart out, cooking it, and feeding it to his family.

42-year-old Lawrence Anderson stabbed 41-year-old Andrea Lynn Blankenship to death in her Chickasha home on February 9.

An agent for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation wrote in a search warrant that Anderson “took the heart back to 214 West Minnesota, Chickasha.”

“He cooked the heart with potatoes to feed to his family to release the demons,” the warrant said.

Anderson was living at 214 West Minnesota with his aunt, Delsie Pye, and uncle, Leon Pye, after being released from prison in January.

After leaving Blankenship’s home, Anderson went back to the Pye’s home where he cooked the heart and tried feeding it to his family.

He then killed Leon Pye, 67, and his 4-year-old granddaughter, Kaeos Yates. He also stabbed his aunt, who survived the attack.

Anderson was arrested the day of the murders.

Authorities discovered Blankenship’s body two days after Anderson confessed at a hospital in Oklahoma City where he was being treated. He’s being held in Grady County jail. Charges are pending.

Anderson has a long criminal record that includes drug convictions and domestic violence.
