As any father would do, former VP Joe Biden is out there defending his son, Hunter, and his alleged actions in Ukraine.
“My son’s a brilliant, honorable guy who — who feels so guilty for being put in this spot — that he put me in this spot,” the former vice president said Sunday in an interview with NBC. Sympathetic left-leaning host, Chuck Todd described the attacks on Hunter by the president as “cruelty.”
Trump has slammed the 2020 Democrat’s son for taking a position on the board of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma while his father was still vice president. The president also faced impeachment over his calls for Ukraine to launch an investigation into the Bidens, but, of course, was later acquitted. The younger Biden admitted in an interview last fall that he had displayed “poor judgment” by accepting the position.
Hunter Biden’s private life came under scrutiny again recently after he fathered a child with a former Washington, D.C., stripper and was caught up in an ensuing paternity case. This past summer, he married a South African divorcee, who is now reportedly pregnant herself, just 10 days after meeting her.
Yep, he sounds like a very “honorable” man to me!
