Even the most beautiful bathroom can suffer from water stains. As the shower humidity sits on the walls for hours, likely, the wall paint will eventually get destroyed. There are many reasons why this water condensation occurs, the most likely of which is lack of ventilation. However, the good news is that even if you notice stains in your bathroom walls you should still be able to clear them away without having to fully repaint them.
1. Dish soap and warm water
The easiest way to clear the water stains is by creating a 1:2 solution of dish soap and warm water. You should then use a cloth with the solution to run the stain away. Once the stain has been removed make sure to rinse the solution away. The most important step in this entire process is making sure that you are drying your walls as soon as you are finished cleaning each spot. This is because spots not dried immediately could become stains again.
2. Vinegar, Lemon Juice and Baking soda
Another great cleaning solution comes by mixing vinegar, lemon juice and baking soda within one spray bottle. You should then spray the mixture on the stain and leave it to work its magic for an hour. Once the hour has passed use a damp cloth to rub the solution away. You might need to repeat a number of times for more intense stains.
