Greenpeace Co-founder Basically Calls Ocasio-Cortez an Idiot

Patrick Moore, the co-founder of the environmentalist group Greenpeace, recently ripped into New York Freshman Congresswoman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, saying her so-called “Green New Deal” was “completely crazy.”

In a series of tweets aimed at Ocasio-Cortez and her plan, Moore also called her a “pompous little twit,” saying that she has no clue what would really happen across the world if such a radical plan were implemented.
“If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating,” Moore said in a tweet on Saturday, March 2, directed at Ocasio-Cortez. “You would bring about mass death.”

Ocasio-Cortez Typical Left Wing Hypocrite

Moore went on to bash AOC for calling climate change “our World War II.” He tweeted:

“It’s her [Green New Deal] that would be worse than WW2. “Imagine no fuel for cars, trucks, tractors, combines, harvesters, power-plants, ships, aircraft, etc. Transport of people & goods would grind to a halt.”

Moore left Greenpeace after 15 years and is now critical of the group, later writing the book, “Confessions of a Greenpeace Dropout: The Making of a Sensible Environmentalist.”

In one of the most scathing of the series of unabashedly critical posts, he said that Ocasio-Cortez was a typical democratic hypocrite.

In that tweet, Moore was referencing a New York Post story that said the Democrat frequently used gas-guzzling Uber and Lyft rides during her 2018 campaign instead of taking the subway station near her campaign office.

“You’re just a garden-variety hypocrite like the others. And you have ZERO expertise at any of the things you pretend to know,” Moore said.

In his final tweet, Moore said, that the Green New Deal is “so completely crazy it is bound to be rejected in the end.”

Ocasio-Cortez, who often shows the intelligence of a grade-schooler, should take a lesson from one of her Sesame Street pals, Kermit the Frog, and realize “It’s not so easy being green!”
