There are many emergencies and situations that people need to deal with daily. While often it can be hard to prepare for anything and everything life throws your way, you can certainly try to be prepared. In this article, we will present to you a few tips for surviving some everyday emergencies and situations in the best way possible.

1. Getting fired

Getting fired can cause strain on your finances, relationships, and family life, but the worst thing is that it can make you lose a lot of your energy. If you do get fired the best thing you can do is to immediately start looking for a job and also try to keep active with some of your favorite physical activities. Whether you choose to go play basketball, or soccer or go running, keeping active will help you feel better and more energized.

2. Brain Freeze

Getting a brain freeze while not dangerous is certainly annoying. To deal with the rush of cold, the best thing you can do is make the area warmer. You can do that either by drinking warm water or pressing your tongue towards the area of your mouth that gets the brain to freeze.

3. Dealing with the common earworm

One of the many annoying things in the world is when you get stuck singing a specific song or melody in your head. Commonly this is referred to as the earworm. To deal with this you have two options, first, blast a different song at full volume, and sing to it. Secondly, just give in and sing the full song stuck in your head until you are completely over it. Both of these should help you get your mind unstuck.
