Caught On Video: Man’s Throat Slashed In Bloody Knife Attack

A horrifically violent video has gone viral that shows the moment a man is murdered when his throat is slashed during a fight in an Australian Mall!

The disturbing footage is of a bloody fight between two groups of men in Fortitude Valley in Brisbane. The men exchanged insults at each other inside the Valley Metro complex before one allegedly pulled out a knife and threatened others.

As things escalated, 24-year-old Lauie Michael Tagaloa was struck in the neck and fell to the ground in a pool of blood. He later died at the scene. 

A 20-year-old has been arrested and charged in the brutal murder, which has been seen by millions on social media.

The horrific video clip, which seems more akin to a scene from a slasher movie than actual security camera footage, shows two groups of young males shouting at each other at about 4 am, before one group attempts to walk away from the fracas.

A fight then breaks out between two men, and Tagaloa is seen stumbling backward before collapsing from a blood-spouting wound to his neck.

Police are speaking to witnesses who attempted to save Tagaloa by administering first aid to the young man.

Three men who allegedly fled the scene immediately after the brawl have since been arrested. A 20-year-old man from Birkdale was charged with murder. Two other men, aged 20 and 21, have been assisting police with their investigations and are yet to be charged.

“Police will allege an altercation occurred between two groups of men in a Brunswick Street mall at approximately 4 am,” police said in a statement.

“The altercation allegedly continued inside a shopping complex off Brunswick Street. During this altercation, it is alleged the 24-year-old Bray Park man was fatally stabbed.”

It’s not believed the two groups of men were known to each other.
