Assassination Attempt on Federal Judge Linked to Epstein Case!

There has been as assassination attempt on a Federal judge who had just been assigned a case linked to deceased pedophile Jon Epstein. The attack happened at the home of Esther Salas, 51, an Obama-appointed District Court judge, in North Brunswick, New Jersey, on Sunday evening.

The horrific attack, killed the judge’s 20-year-old son Daniel Anderl, and left her husband, defense attorney Mark Anderl, 63, critically wounded. The judge, the presumed target of the attack was uninjured. She was believed to have been in the basement during the shooting.

The gunman appeared at the home dressed as a FedEx driver apparently delivering a package. Daniel is believed to have opened the door to the gunman at around 5pm. The assassin started firing immediately, and Daniel was “shot in the heart,” according to friends of the family. His father Mark, was then shot several times when he went to the front door to see what had happened. The gunman then fled.

Judge Salas had recently been assigned to a civil financial fraud case tied to Jeffrey Epstein. That case was brought by Deutsche Bank investors who claim the bank made false and misleading statements about its anti-money laundering policies and failed to monitor “high-risk” customers, including convicted sex offender billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.

Earlier this month, the bank agreed to pay a $150 million fine for continuing to work with Epstein, after he was convicted of soliciting underage prostitutes in 2008.

Judge Salas also sent TV stars Teresa and Joe Giudice — from the Real Housewives of New Jersey — to jail for tax evasion and fraud.

It’s unclear whether her husband – who worked as a criminal prosecutor for 10 years, before starting a private practice — is actively involved in any cases.

Neighbors told the local press that police were knocking on doors asking for any security video footage of the area. “They are still here, not just the police but the FBI, there are agents all over the place,” one woman told the press. “It’s unbelievable what is going on.”

According to ABC News, Judge Salas had received death threats in the past. She has also sentenced and jailed members of two violent local street gangs. So far, police have not announced any arrests or named any suspects, however the FBI tweeted it was looking for ‘one subject’ in the shooting.

There has not been any official word on whether the attack is realted to Salas’s convictions of NJ gang members or her ties to the Epstein case. However, the convictions of the gang members were back in 2017, and she was only assigned the Epstein case one week ago.

US Marshals have been assigned to protect Judge Salas.
